Dr. Julie James has devoted 20 years to mastering SomaVeda® Integrated Traditional Therapies, Thai Yoga, Native American Medicine and Ceremony, Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy, Holistic Health, Natural Medicine, Holistic Gynecology, and Women’s Fertility Issues. She has completed over 8,000 hours of extensive training and education, including clinical practice. She has obtained Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Practitioner Certifications in SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Therapy and has personally apprenticed under Ajahn, Dr. Anthony B. James, DNM(C), ND (Traditional), MD(AM). She is also a Director and co-founder of the Native American Indigenous Church Inc. (NAIC). Julie's dad, Fred, is an enrolled Sac and Fox Sioux Tribal Nation member..She has been training as a support helper since 2004. Then took on the training of Medicine Woman with Medicine Man Dr. Anthony James since 2004. She specializes in being his personal Fire Keeper.
Dr. Julie has been studying with Dr. James since they met in 2004, and she completed her first workshop, SomaVeda® Fundamentals of Thai Yoga Massage, in July 2005. She received a Certification as an Instructor in SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda. Julie graduated with Honors from the American College of Natural Medicine, Doctor of Natural Medicine, Ayurveda ND (Traditional) in March of 2011. She is a NAIC LCHT-0117 Lifetime Member. Dr. Julie received a diploma in Doctor of Philosophy of Hospitallar Medicine from PanAmerican School of Natural Medicine, Nevis, West Indies, Holistic Health Provider Ayurveda Program in June 2014.
