SomaVeda™ Thai Yoga Table Massage Courses:
(SomaVeda™ applications and procedures for the massage table, levels 1-5a&b, 10 Hr per level. ) Featuring innovative work on the translation and adaptation of traditional SomaVeda™ position treatment methods for the ' Modern Massage Table. This beautiful Thai Yoga Table Massage was first demonstrated by Dr. James Nationallyin the US in 1991 at the AOBTA National conference in New Orleans. Unlike using the Thai Yoga Mats or mat, this work is appropriate for the work place, corporate and/ or industrial settings as well as conventionalyoga therapy, Ayurveda treatment and Massage Therapy venues.
SomaVeda™ Thai Yoga Table Massage incorporates virtually every conceivable Thai Yoga Massage technique, Asana and Vinyasana. Learn how to do all the primary Thai Massage flows, using the Massage Therapy table for advantage and leverage.
This is very similar work to that practiced in virtually all of the 160 plus Veterens Hospitalsin Thailand. We also incorporate methods given to us by Grand Master Anantasuk of the Anantasuk Thai Massage school famous for their programs at the Wiangklaikangwan Industrial college under patronage of the Thai King and Royal family. Dr. J is a recognized Aachan in the Anantasuk school (Certificate available for review on request.)
This course, using the unique SomaVeda™ philosophy brings the idea of using a conventional massage table for therapy to the next higher evolution. This means more work, more benifit to both the therapists and client with less effort and risk of depilitating injury. Thai Yoga Massage Chair instruction is offered as a module for our Certified Thai Practitioner (CTP), Certified Thai Teacher (TCP), Certified Holistic Health Provider Programs (HHP).. (Total possible hours CEU's at this time 100hrs.)
