In honotr of my association the Phaa Khruu Samaii Mesamarn, Aachan Promote Mesamarn and the Buddai Sawan Sword Fighting Institute of Nongkam and Ayudthaya, Thailand since 1982. Please find some miscellaneous photos from then to present. Also, please note that in the early days, phaa khruu Samaii was not a big fan of cameras in class! He was famous for snatching camera's and throwing them on the ground... being more of an advocate for being in the moment while training. These photo's feature more the school faciliaty, alters, weapons etc. and are not intended to be comprehensive as to the full curriculum offered during my training to become a Khruu Kabri Kabrong. In all we studied nine different weapons systems. More especially important to me personally to me was that Phaa Khruu introduced me to Traditional Thai Medicine, Nuad Thai and to our Brother teachers and fellow Masters who would guide me to become a healer in addition to my Martial Arts masteries. These photo's represent an ongoing "Wai Khruu" to Phaa Khruu and the other teachers at Buddhai Sawan woes influence has profoundly affected me in a positive way over the past 40+ years, to this day.
