SCNM: SomaVeda Integrated Traditional Therapies®: Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy, Thai Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage or Thai Massage, also known as Thai Yoga Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, Nuad Thai or Nuad Boran, is an ancient spiritually based, vitalistic and holistic healing art that can be learned and practiced by anyone with an open mind, compassionate heart and a desire to help others.We offer four distinctive levels of Certification!
This is the original Thai Yoga certification first brought to the US in 1983. Designed and supervised by Dr. Anthony James, an Aachan, Master Teacher of Thai Yoga, Doctor of Ayurveda, Doctor of Natural Medicine, Doctor of Pastoral Medicine and Naturopathy, Native American Church Medicine Person.
Advanced Thai Yoga Certified Practitioner Program:CTP (200 hour residential intensive). This 27 day, approximately one month plus long program, will cover all five levels of the Basic Professional Thai Yoga Certification Program plus fourteen additional breakout and/or supplemental courses described below.

Level I: Fundamentals of SomaVeda® Thai Yoga – 18 hours Level 2: Ayurvedic SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Training – 48 hours Level 3: Nuad Boran: Northern Style SomaVeda® Thai Yoga – 56 hours Level 4: Advanced Training: Lines, Wheels and Points, SomaVeda® Theory (Cosmology, Sen Lines, Assessments, Indications, Contra-indications, Chakra Theory and Korosot Astrology: Level Four) – 16 hours Level 5: Training: Clinical Applications and Development of specific programs for Clients based on Ayurvedic Assessments and Guidelines. – 32 hours = 160 Core Contact Hours. SCNM: SomaVeda® Level Five also includes the SomaVeda® Legal Guidelines and Practices for Healing Professionals Course work. How Much does it cost?
The full ONACS Seminary tuition for the Certified Thai Yoga Practitioner Program (CTP1) including all core course work and required adjuncts is $4,295.00. (Not including housing and book fees.)

These courses alone could easily cost another $2,000.00 if taken separately. Why pay extra or separately for these valuable courses somewhere else? We will include them at no additional charge!
8. SomaVeda® Walking Yoga and Hands Free Thai Yoga! Invented and first taught by Dr. J as a specialty practice to help Massage Therapists with hand and arm stress and disability… Now widely emulated, this unique program shows you in details how to do professional sessions and virtually never have to use your hands! Save your self from Carpal Tunnel and repetitive stress disorders so common in today’s massage world by learning how to work hands free! Knock off courses will try to charge you for this training… it is always free and included at no charge in every CTP. Since we first offered this hands free Thai Yoga, Thai Massage alternative training in 1992, we have never charged separately for it. Another reason SomaVeda® serves both you and your clients!
14. Intro to Ayurvedic Wellness and Yoga Therapy: Survey of Natural Medicine Principles and practices. Relevant documentaries with discussion.= 40 Adjunct Contact Hours (Occur simultaneously with Core classes)
15. SomaVeda® Legal Guidelines and Safe Practices: Indigenous and Earth Based Healing Professionals and The Law Course. (4 hours)
That’s correct… all fifteen separate additional courses or $2,000.00 worth of additional training included when you commit to the full program!
Not Included: CTP1 Materials fee is $269.00 for all workbooks, text, posters and DVD required. Food and Meals not included. There is a separate meal plan available listed with housing. Electrical for Camping and or Kitchen use fee. Personal medical consultations and or treatments of any kind with Dr. James or other TYC staff. Please Note:On Site Housing is mandatory to qualify for eligibility for tuition scholarships. On-Site Housing is NOT required to attend TYC programs. Non residential students are considered Student at Large Registrations and may still qualify for special pricing based on date of registration and number of remaining available seats in any given class.
